It does not work on PS1.
Can u do a tutorial on how to get address RNG & frame of Bge?

Sure !
There's already tutorial made by legendary HwitVlf
it is step by step tutorial how to find hidden value,
here's the link ---> http://www.swordofmoonlight.com/bbs/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=875.0;attach=2616
I am pretty much blind with assembly coding,
but after I went through that tutorial, now I can manipulate and create one or more functions to suits my need
may the God of coding bless you :star: :star: :star:

Hello, is there a version of the patch without the English voice acting and all benefits/fixes from the latest patch?
Sorry I am a bit confused, so there is a v2 of the patch with english voice acting, and also one called v2 with subtitled videos. The files says "Movies only".
So can i combine the v8 translation with the v2 subtitles movies to get the full translated product without english voice acting? Is that correct?

Thanks for this great patch!

*EDIT* I think I did it. First I did apply the translation patch v8, same file to both discs. Then I did the same with the 2 v2 subtitles movies files separately for disc1 and disc2. I guess that was the correct way to do it, right?

*EDIT2* Found this Review on romhacking, is that a troll or is that a accurate review of the patch?

What an unfortunate turnout. As awesome as it is to see Grand Edition translated things like magic and evolution mentions were knowingly censored out. There are also random changes to names and plot for no reason (unless they pertain to the former, then there is a reason). There are even changes both major and minor to gameplay. And yes, this came from a playthrough without the patch meant to alter gameplay. There is a patch floating around that tries to remedy some of this, but the hacker eventually gave up due to just how deep these changes went.

This is slightly better than the menu only patch out there, but don’t take what the dialogue tells you seriously.

Recommended - No

He's not a troll. Chronosplit has killed that review and posted a new one it seems:

"Reviewed By: Chronosplit on 19 Oct 2017

NOTE: This is based on an older version of this patch. Later I’ll be updating this with stuff for the current version.

There appear to be changes both major and minor to gameplay. And yes, this came from a playthrough without the patch meant to alter gameplay. I am not exactly a Brigandine wiz however so take this with a grain of salt. There is a patch floating around that tries to remedy some of this.
Version 8 Recommended - Yes"

So umm, what was his initial review based on? Was there significant artistic license taken with the patch?

Hey Everyone! I wanted to let everyone know that a new Brigandine Website exists to replace the old archived one.

https://brigandine.enjin.com/

It has a forums section, a gallery and a few other options too. I hope to see some old Brigandine pals and maybe some new friends there.  :beerchug:

Stop by when you have some time.

I just registered to say THANKS ! MANY THANKS !
Good job to keep this legend alive !!  :beerchug:
Brigandine Grand Edition is the BEST !!

I want to share this code that I found while playing around with comparative search method, in case somebody need it :

1. I believe the code to make Always Year 215 is not working properly (I tested it out by myself). especially this code
300A68E8 00D7 ---> this code is not working properly it is just visual but not actual year 215
301C7598 00D7 ---> this code is not working properly it is just visual but not actual year 215
so I have better workaround for this.
First you must choose new game in Squire difficulty mode, so you can get infinite time merit
then use this code one time only
Modify current gameplay diff to King
300A63D8 0002
this short code modify your current gameplay difficulty into KING. With this trick you can have infinite time and KING difficulty gameplay  enjoy !

also ... I want to request this : (hopefully get some response)

1. please if possible can someone replace Grand Edition organize & battle BGM with Legend of Forsena for each country ?
I am sorry if this is such a troubling request. I don't think Grand Edition organize & battle BGM is bad. But,
it's just I prefer LoF version and I believe it can be accomplished here with all of you gurus.
I know basic Hex editor knowledge but sadly I don't know how to replace BGE music with LoF version

hopefully I can get some reply, or even better such as positive response !!
Long live Brigandine !

Hi lubronbrons, why your image have memory address 300A63D8 and above? Mine maxed out at 2cce57a0.
I got my image from coolrom instead of emuparadise, since my epsxe 2.0.5 give "unknown opcode 0005000E at 8006C508" when running the "Track 01.bin.ecm" I download from emuparadise

Sorry I have another question, the stat growth in the wiki page seems to be incompatible with Brigandine GE. Example, the wiki say ranger HP growth is 12-16, but my ranger get 8 HP increase :( Anyone have the correct stat growth value? Thank you!

You have to use google translate but i believe these to be accurate. I haven't tested personally but these are what I use for balance purposes.
