The music is a conglomeration of three artists. Two I found via Laura's Midi Heaven, a website with freelance original midi artists. The two folks I used from there were kind enough to give me the ok to use their music in my game.
There are three tracks that were written by Tom Eversole (Hguols), and he was really cool to let me use those. They were tracks that were trimmed and pieced into mood music for Trismegistus mostly, but the full tracks did not appear in his game, so he let me put them in mine.
As for musical talent....I can think of a ton of tunes I would love to write, but I have no idea how to write them hehe. Thankfully others much more talented than myself were willing to lend a hand.
If you end up making an SOM game, there are a lot of folks on Laura's Midi Heaven willing to hand out their music to interested game makers. I would check there to see if any of the styles fit your needs.
