Trismegistus

Is there a place to goto get hints?  I need help.  I am early in the game with only 2 solves, magic level 8, intellect 2 and I have found only one key to open the very first chests.  I have looked in the light realm and real realm (did I day those right?) and have not found anything.  I have found the two fake walls in the building with the two men statues and the griffin statue that comes alive in real, but cannot find any other secret doors.  Thanks for any help...

Its been a while since I have played the game, but I will try to download it again tomorrow and start a new game and take a peek at the beginning area, I have forgotten much of the game by now.

We used to have quite a few posts with some tips, sadly that section of the forum was lost.

The game's author, Tom, will likely reply to any questions you have and hes on here checking into stuff pretty much daily.

Keep plugging away at the game, youre sure to uncover some new stuff if you keep peeking.

It's really a puzzle box sort of game. I played it/enjoyed it for hours I'm sure but my general aversion to all things puzzles eventually held sway. A walkthru would kind of defeat the purpose though it would not be so bad if you're like me and would generally rather read a walkthru/wiki than actually play a game. A cleverly orchestrated faq might be helpful. Maybe something that doesn't outright spoil / only offers riddle like hints at first before final solutions. Either that or Hguols could setup a Nintendo Power hotline and charge phonesex rates.

It's been over a month and I have not heard anything.  I am going to erase the game from my computer.  What a bummer because I was starting to enjoy it.

Whoa...dont erase it!

The forum had some issues with losing posts from the Trismegistus forum.

Where are you stuck?  We can help you out.

Tom needs to have email alerts setup for this board it seems.

Maybe kelshar just wants a guide instead of the game author coaching him thru

PS: Were the lost posts not older ones? I don't think forum search even works because the host here kills the process before it can finish. If so you might have some luck here (http://www.swordofmoonlight.net/bbs/index.php?action=search)

Also I think this topic (http://www.swordofmoonlight.net/bbs/index.php/topic,14.0.html) is not available here anymore.

EDITED: On the other hand, dmpdesign informed me the other day that he had finished Trismegistus, so he can probably help you get unstuck if not unlock all the mysteries hidden within the game.

I would assume at this point you are well beyond the status of the original post having a handful of solves and one key?

If not, at least let me know what key you do have, and we can go from there.
