Week 2 - 10/12/09 bonus question
« on: October 12, 2009, 08:16:22 pm »
difficulty - 4/5 (worth 4 points)

what is the bare minimum number of silviera's keys you will need to reach the capricorn sword?

every wrong guess will lower the number of points this is worth.

Five! At least that's what I remember- three in a row, then two more.

Good answer, I was suspecting someone to fall for a trick question thinking that you would have to add the keys left in the doors in the ancient battlefield...but using the ichrius key you can remove all of the keys, so the absolute bare minimum to get to the capricorn is five keys indeed.

congrats john.

I played as a neurotic collector so if there was a way not to leave a key behind, I always did it.
I ended the game with a big stack of everything.  Earth Herbs, Antidotes, Armor MINE MINE ALLL MINEEEE!
Fun questions, they make you think!

On a related note, Silviera and his keys are named something close to Lombar in the Japanese game and
he's the main character in Pilot Style.

Good Job John!

I am also a neurotic collector.

I will die before I'd use the last Earth Herb in the game.  ^_^  Thank Goodness it's never come to that (and never will)

...I'm just saying.

I  have a KF1 save where every findable item in the game is in storage..so any item i used up had to be bought (earth herbs antidotes etc were all purchased).

Its kinda funny how many you end up with if you store them all...might be a good question down the road for 5 points @@

I am glad you are both collectors, I think you will like the library concept I cooked up in DD...if you can find it!

Tom no cheating, I know youve seen the source project data :P

I don't cheat!

...until I beat the game on my own.

....or I get really REALLY stuck.

...or someone dares me to.

Ok, I cheat.
