Controls issue for SOM

I downloaded what seems to be a standalone version of kingsfield 1 at http://www.swordofmoonlight.com/KF1Translated.htm and my keyboard or mouse isn't responding with it at all.

Odd, downloaded it and tested it locally with no issue, are you having similar problems with any other stand alone SOM created games?

I haven't tested any other yet, just this one just plays the full intro, then asks me to press any key, then nothing ever happens.

That's odd.  The game worked fine for me.  You don't use the mouse at all--its pure keyboard controlled, with a control setup similar to Wolfenstein 3D.  Space opens doors, Alt toggles strafing, control uses an attack spell, shift attacks and tab opens the menu.

What OS are you playing on by the way?

Just so you know, you don't need to use alt for strafing. You can instead use the NUMPAD for moving/strafing and turning, it's much easier.
