Best SoM games?

I am interested in making a game like King's Field (though not necessarily with SoM) and am wondering what the best games are that have been made with SoM/best King's Field fangames that I could possibly study are?

I would suggest Dark Destiny if you're looking for a more traditional KF game, then there's Trismegistus, which is a puzzle game that does a good job of showing off what the engine is capable of. My best game so far would probably be Heir of Granatyki, which is also a more traditional KF game.
