Figured I'd make a new section for any screenshots and videos I feel like posting while working on map creation for this project.
Lately I've been working on mapping out the Royal Cemetery area, so here's a small glimpse at what the set looks like. :coffee:
-
Ah, now I see what you meant by 'KF4 inspired.'
Looks excellent. Also, good to see the unique multi-armed skeleton being used, I don't think I have seen it in any SoM games yet.
-
Here's a full one-and-a-half minutes of gameplay set in the Royal Cemetery!
Remember, this is a very early build and nothing is final.

It really looks good to me. It's amazing what a difference the high quality wall textures make.
-
Here are a few more screenshots of the Royal Cemetery set I'm currently building.
-
Just some random screenshots. :goodnight:
-
So I've been doing some experimenting with King's Field 4 textures lately and came up with this.
I'm thinking I might do the whole game with this set since it looks so good!
-
It actually looks clear and crisperthan the TAC screen.
Do you mean using the same texture for multiple sets? Dont forget that variation is pretty important :)
-
Oh no, I meant I'd use TAC textures for the entire game, I'll definitely keep things varied.
-
Great! Hope tosee more updates soon!! Getting pretty enthusiastic about this :)
-
Hey all, I'm back to posting updates. Here's some new screenshots from an area called the Garrison Ruins.
-
These are the updated custom HD textures I'm making for this project. They will be available for download in the future, when the game is released.
-
Updated versions of the screenshots I posted earlier, you can see here how much of a difference the new textures make.
-
The lighthouse makes a return.
-
Screenshots of some of the early game areas. keep in mind that some decorative objects like plants and grass haven't been added in yet.
-
First area is pretty much all finished, here's a ton of screenshots.
-
Looking good MasterTaffer, if you had to estimate percentage-wise how much is completed, what would you saY?
-
It's about 70% completed at the moment. I'm really trying to get it out before 2016, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to.
-
The custom work looks excellent, please keep posting progress :)
-
Looks awesome
-
King's Field V is nearing a release, but for now here's a quick gameplay trailer.

Nice ! Looks good. Do you think it will be out by the end of the year ?
-
Definately not. I decided to take some extra time to redo the maps; I'm condensing them down and making them more visually appealing. So it'll be another 3 months or so until it's ready to play. Here's a sneak peak at one of the new sets I've made, it's based on an area from Eternal Ring.
-
I'm archiving all the important screenshots from my King's Field V Facebook page for future reference and inspiration, as I'll be deleting it. Feel free to check them out.
-
I'm so please to see the game complete.
-
This looks amazing I haven't had a chance to touch it which if you're a kingsfield addict a picture of something you've never seen before in the Kingsfield realm it's like BRO I need to search those walls behind you!
-
This is awesome to see guys!
