Finally getting around to recompiling the DD vids to actually work on windows 7 without having to retro fit an indeo codec onto your machine.
I will upload a new DD download sometime today with the fixes so anyone that was unable to get the vids to play before (such as the ending even) should now be able to.
Sorry it took so long to get it done, but just found my old raw files yesterday that makes this possible :D

The KF remake's video use the same Indeo codec. There's an extension for loading codecs developed for playing the remake (http://en.swordofmoonlight.org/wiki/Sword_of_Moonlight_Extension_Library/list_of_extensions#register_...)
The Indeo gets better compression than a basic AVI codec that will work with SOM. But AVI is really just a container. But I haven't come across anything modern that will work. If there is demand for movies I can set aside a day to work on supporting modern codecs. The extension above still lets you load the codec you are using, whatever it may be.

Did this video update infact occur? Does the "King's Field Dark Destiny Full Installer v1.07 (1.6GB)" in the download section include said update?

Yes it does, it should run on any machine now regardless of codecs installed etc.
