I vaguely remember something like this... I think I thought it was brilliant, then spent the rest of the game dumbfounded wondering where all the brilliance had gone :confused:

Edited: I just realized I added something like this to the first DoM map without even making the connection...

I actually did that my first time playing King's Field The Ancient City.  I took probably 5-6 steps, "well this ground looks a little different." and cracked through it to meet my lava demise.

This little voice told me "Welcome to King's Field".  HA!

I'm not sure the exact number of steps, but its certainly a single digit of them. 
I miss this game, but I don't have it anymore.  >_<

Did something similar on King's Field Additional II.  The absolute first fatal fall in the game I fell - about 45 seconds into the game.

I pronounce it dark angel back when I first got online that was going to be my handle, then about the same time the TV show by that name came out, so I just changed a few letters.

I thought maybe I was missing an obscure reference to the 4th Musketeer or it should be pronounced like archangel or something :wink:
