I've definitely seen/have Win98 CDs!! You're maybe thinking of Windows 3.1??

98 does come on a CD but it's not a bootable CD so you have to boot to a floppy and load the CD drivers from there.

Then I stand corrected / regret keeping up with that CD set if it wouldn't have worked without the floppies anyway!!

Something about the bat file doesn't seem to be taking under Vista. Running the reg file manually works however.


SOM seems to get mixed up, like it will start with the intended install, but the next tool it spawns will be from the old, then when you go back it will be the old still.

You might want to check to make sure your setup is working right. It's pretty obvious to me, because I'm running your translation in one and the original (japanese) in the other.
